15 October is European Breast Cancer Day. It is a fitting moment to revisit a project that brought together film, movement and music with a simple message: caring for one’s health deserves a place in everyday life.
Music, tenderness and community
The second edition of Me, Myself & Touch was created in 2025. Directed by Tala Dołgowska, the film brought together nearly one hundred women from different backgrounds. It moves from intimate gestures to a shared experience, with a new interpretation of Maanam’s song ‘Kocham Cię, kochanie moje’ at its musical heart.
The choral parts were recorded with Silesian Chamber Choir Ad libitum at the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. The delicacy of an individual gesture meets the strength of many voices.
The voice of Ad libitum
The remix and musical recomposition were created by VOLA default (Wioleta Wnorowska). The choral arrangement and recording were prepared by Jędrzej Panek / Boundless Sound Records and Dariusz Panek. The piece was performed by Silesian Chamber Choir Ad libitum, conducted by Prof. Izabella Zielecka‑Panek.
This is an important trace of the ensemble’s artistic work: here, music is not merely an illustration but a carrier of emotion and a shared call for awareness.
