PankAnton
Two voices, a piano and two artists who have shared the same musical wavelength for years.
PankAnton on Facebook
PankAnton is Dariusz “Pałki” Panek and Marek Anton — two musicians brought together by years of singing, a shared sensitivity and the sheer pleasure of performing together. The duo’s name combines their surnames, while their concert programmes bring classical music, popular songs and jazz together with original arrangements, an intimate sound and an easy sense of humour.
Their artistic friendship began in the University of Silesia Harmonia Choir and the Silesian Chamber Choir Ad libitum, where both sang second tenor. Rehearsals and concerts made it clear that they understood each other musically with very few words. Alongside their professional work, they decided to create a project of their own. PankAnton gave its first concert in October 2022.
Since then the duo has appeared in concerts and special events. Its achievements include a live broadcast from the Jerzy Harald Concert Studio of Polish Radio Katowice, recorded album material and numerous meetings with audiences. Music, a close rapport with listeners and the joy of performing together remain at the heart of every appearance.
PankAnton is a conversation between two musical personalities — sometimes lyrical, sometimes playful, always sincere.
