The first artistic activity of the Foundation was the co-organization of the “Better World Project” together with the „Harmonia” Choir of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn. It is an international initiative that has broken geographic boundaries. 11 choirs from 10 countries were involved in the project. A choral piece with a beautiful, timeless text – “Better World” (author: Ryan Cayabyab, the national composer of the Philippines), was selected for joint performance on the Internet.
Dariusz Panek together with Jędrzej Panek arranged the piece in such a way that it turned from a choral composition into a pop-entertaining piece. It was recorded in the beginner recording studio of Jędrzej – this year’s high school graduate. Due to the pandemic, 103 singers had to learn their parts on their own, in their homes and listen to the pilot recording prepared by Jędrek, then record them with a mobile phone and send them to Poland. Jędrzej, as the recording engineer, appropriately cleaned these 103 vocal parts, equalized, refined the text, equalized endings, breaths, etc.), i.e. mixed and mastered. It was tens of hours of work.
