In the last days, on July 2-4, the Ad libitum Ensemble participated in the International Festival of Choirs and Orchestras in Košice, Slovakia. Four concerts in different places in this beautiful country, from Tatra Smokovec in Tatra Mountains to the Botanical Garden in Košice. On the first day, the opening concert was intended for children from the Summer Academy of Little Music. An amazing impression in passing on choral music of various levels to children. The wonderful children’s audience listened with interest and sang along with Ad libitum. In the evening, as usual during the Festival, a candlelight concert Few people only could participate. It was raining five minutes before the concert, but the audience in Košice, used to the concert at the Library, did not disappoint, despite the weather. At the right moment, the rain stopped and the concert could take place. Wonderful acoustics ❤Then the conference room of the wonderfully located Hotel Bellevue ** in Smokovec in the High Tatras. Finally, a concert in the bosom of nature in the Botanical Garden. The singers did not expect such a friendly reception in beautiful landscapes. A surprising place, and the music was wonderful with birds singing all around. The ocarina and shepherd’s bells in a dialogue with voices sounded superb. An unforgettable impression. We would like to thank the director of the Festival, Igor Dohovicz, for the invitation
