INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS / WODZISŁAW SL./POLAND 2021

The time of the pandemic deprived the bands of the possibility of joint concerts, musical travels, exploring countries, organizing international meetings. The Music Without Borders Foundation has decided to meet these longings and show that music has no boundaries through joint, team action.
On May 23, 2021, the International Festival Music Without Borders / International Music Bez Granic Festival / 2021 online version was organized.
The honorary patronage over the event was assumed by the President of the City of Wodzisław Śląski, Mr. Mieczysław Kieca.

The concert is available here:

The International Music Without Borders Festival is a presentation of recordings of 16 choral groups from 12 countries of the world: Czech Republic, Ecuador, Philippines, Malta, Poland, Russia (Siberia), Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, USA, Italy.
Varied music, presenting various colors and sounds, is characteristic of the Festival. These are choral presentations, most of which were recorded during live concerts, when it was still possible, or prepared during the last, difficult time of the pandemic at home. The recording was not made in a studio environment. It was not about perfect workmanship and impeccable sound. Friendship, cooperation, joint action and the opportunity to learn about the band’s individual musical preferences were important.
The Silesian Chamber Choir Ad libitum was invited to participate, which for nearly 15 years operated in the Wodzisław district (now it is the band of the Music Without Borders Foundation) and the Wodzisław City Choir Canticum Novum conducted by Emilia Kopiec.
The initiator of the festival is the Music Without Borders Foundation, which started its activity in Wodzisław Śląski on April 7, 2021.
International Music Without Borders Festival / Wodzisław Śl. 2021 can see on the Youtube channel. The organizers, however, hope that this is the last festival in an exclusively Internet form, and in the future, it will be possible to invite bands to Wodzisław Śląski and show the inhabitants of culture, tradition and singing from other countries.

We invite you to listen to choral music from different countries of the world in unusual colors. during a musical journey ...
